Music Together^® (Infant to age 5)

Join us this winter for the wonderful new Sticks song collection! Your child will love going for a musical ride with "Ridin' in the Car" and "Trot to Grandma's House". We'll dance with "Don Alfredo baila," march and scamper with "The Tailor and the Mouse," and go "Pop!" with that good ol' classic weasel! With over 23 songs, you'll have plenty of new music to keep the family singing and dancing all winter long! In addition to our weekly classes, your tuition includes recordings and materials you can use at home, including a beautiful illustrated songbook, access to the songs through the Music Together app and special online resources, such as music notation for our full collection, and more! Rhythm Kids^® (Ages 5-8)

Jan 6 - Mar 12 (10-weeks)

Prepare for excitement this winter as we explore the new Elephant song collection, designed especially for kids ages 5-8. The Elephant Song collection includes triple-meter drumming patterns inspired by the traditional social dance from Mali known as Suku. We'll enjoy dramatic play in "Elephant Stampede," and all kinds of musical fun with our version of the classic, “Skinnamarink” (new this winter!). We'll also learn a Gaelic children's song called "Dilín ó Deamhas" and, of course, have a blast doing "The Elephant Dance"! All the songs in this collection have been chosen and arranged specifically to support your child's music development. Tuition includes our song collection recordings, songbook, and access to special drumming videos for practice at home.

This class requires a small (roughly 9" x 18") djembe drum to play in class and at home. If you don't have one already, when you register we will give you information about retailers that offer special discounts to our Rhythm Kids^® families. You can expect to pay around $100 for a good quality small drum, it will sound fantastic and last a long time -- they're also great for sing-alongs, drum circles, and jam sessions of all types!
