Spring Online Classes (Mar. 15 - May 16): To protect our families and musical community during the COVID-19 pandemic we will continue to offer all of our classes online this spring. With Music Together® Online, music class comes to you. Each week for 8 weeks, through live Zoom classes and enagaging interactive videos, we will lead your family in making Music Together using the same rich collection of songs we would use in our in-person classes. In addition to our weekly online classes, families receive a high-quality digital recording, songbook, and bonus activities so the musical fun can continue all week long! It’s a great way to deepen your child's music education from home while still practicing physical distancing. Our classes encourage the active participation of the whole family and we'll have everyone, infants to adults engaged in the music making. This spring we'll make music from the fantastic new "Triangle" Music Together song collection.
For children ages 5-8 who are ready to take their love of music to the next level, our Rhythm Kids online classes teach drumming, chants, rhythms and songs from around the world. This spring we'll learn the duple-meter drumming patterns of Puerto Rico's Bomba dancing, an interplay where the drummer tries to follow a dancer's movements. We'll also sing, dance and drum along to the lively patterns of "Ayiko, Ayiko," a welcome song from Southern Ghana. These are just two of the many diverse songs we'll explore in the "Jaguar" collection. Join us this spring for Music Together and Rhythm Kids online!
